Hi everyone! Mowgli from The Jungle Book made a very rare appearance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today (below left and right). He was very curious about my video camera, asking what HD meant. I didn’t know what to say, but came up with “Mogli-Vision“. That became a recurring theme in the videos! This is a one-time only meet & greet, at least for now.
Hi everyone! Walt Disney World celebrated May the 4th (Star Wars Day) with a special Limited Time Magic offering. The event felt like a lighter version of Star Wars Weekends, but culminated with a terrific fireworks presentation. Mickey, Minnie, R2MK, Donald and Goofy greeted guests, usually rotating among the characters but occasionally all together (below, left). Minnie and Mickey look on at R2MK (below, right).

While I was at Daytona International Speedway enjoying the races, Denise headed off to Epcot to see what the progress was on the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. There was a lot to see! The flower quilt near the Imagination Pavilion (below, left) looks vibrant as a monorail glides by. One of our favorite photo areas when the flowers are in bloom is at the Universe of Energy (below, left), where flowers and the pond make for a lovely photo.
Hi everyone! We have spent a lot of time at Disney resorts this week! We were invited to a Super Bowl get-together at a friend’s Treehouse Villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs resort (below, left). While he’s a DVC member and used his points, the Treehouses can also be reserved by non-DVC guests if available. There is a dedicated pool for the Treehouses (below, right), which is small but includes a jacuzzi as well. We like the frog decorations!

The setup was along the water (below, left) and had a few props that looked like they came from the Canadian storyteller. Chip, Dale, Donald and Daisy were there to greet guests (below, right).
Hi everyone! I had a great birthday at Walt Disney World! Our yearly tradition is for Denise to take me to Boma: Flavors of Africa for breakfast (below, left). This is one of our favorite dining locations on property for breakfast or dinner! Boma has a gorgeous design to it, and is reminiscent of an African market (below, right).
