Buy it Now – Journey Into Imagination with Original Dreamfinder Ron Schneider: Exclusive Signed Edition

Join Ron Schneider as he chronicles his journey from the early days of Disneyland to his years at EPCOT Center’s Journey Into Imagination – including a previously unreleased ride-through of the classic original attraction!

The Ron Schneider Story (2012)

Listen as Ron tells of his first childhood visit to Disneyland on June 18th, 1955. As a young adult, he set his sights on a career in live themed performance, and worked for twelve years as a performer for Six Flags, Universal City Studios and Disney – where he realized his dream of performing for Wally Boag in Disneyland’s original Golden Horseshoe Revue. Then, with the opening of EPCOT Center in 1982, Ron took on the role that would define him: the original strolling Dreamfinder at Kodak’s Journey Into Imagination.

Ron shares in exciting detail the creative challenges he faced in bringing EPCOT Center’s only characters to vivid life. Anyone who’s a fan of Disney theme parks – or has ever held the dream of performing for an audience of millions – will enjoy these behind-the-scenes tales, told by a talented storyteller and theme park legend.

Celebrating Disneyland’s 57th Birthday at Walt Disney World, Former Fantasyland Skyway Station Area, Fantasyland Bonjour! Village Gifts and Gaston’s Taven – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

I’ve had the opportunity to celebrate Disneyland’s birthday (July 17th) in person many times in the past, including at the big media event for the 50th! But there are years that we don’t get to Disneyland in July – so we celebrate instead at the Magic Kingdom (below, right). We celebrated the 57th birthday of Disneyland on a very rainy day at the park. Our tradition is to ride opening day Disneyland attractions, but some of them are outside, so we couldn’t really be too choosy!

Hi everyone!

We spent a few hours yesterday at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) – it’s hard to believe it’s been a month since we’ve visited! The last visit we made was when the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N Soak area was opened. The Main Street Bakery had been under a facade for quite some time including the last time we were here, and it looks very nice and bright now (below, right).

Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem Band: Muppets Tribute at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, MouseSteps Weekly Latest Show with Commentary – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

This week we noticed a nice tribute to Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem Band in the Stage 1 Company Store at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The famous Muppet band has a long history at Disney-MGM Studios, first appearing in the “Here Come The Muppets” (1990-1991) live stage show (performed in the theater now showing Voyage of the Little Mermaid) and “Muppets On Location: Days of Swine and Roses” (1991-1994) performed in the area where the Cars meet & greet is now located. In the “Here Come The Muppets” show the Muppets arrived via monorail, which crashed through the stage (below, right).
