By Jeff, on January 15th, 2012 Hi everyone!
Yesterday was a busy one at the Magic Kingdom. The Mickey Christmas ornament is now replaced with a more traditional Mickey at the front of the park (below, left). Scrims are up around Main Street U.S.A. (below, right), as the end of the holiday season always seems to lead to a few months of extensive rehabs.

By Jeff, on October 12th, 2011 Hi everyone!
Yesterday we put off our Magic Kingdom update to focus on the Cubot interactive test, but I’m happy to be sharing our Magic Kingdom photos and video today! Denise noticed the pumpkin wreaths at the Magic Kingdom tollbooth (below, left) as we drove to the park. The Disney and American flags were flying at half-staff in memory of Steve Jobs (below, right).

By Jeff, on September 4th, 2011 Hi everyone!
The Magic Kingdom is decked out for Halloween, and Denise took photos from the front of the park to all the way down Main Street USA (see the full set HERE). It looks really good this year, with new garland and wreaths! The display is outside as always for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (below, left). The Magic, Memories and You banner has displaced a couple of pumpkins, which are now inside the park at Town Square. But the front entrance looks great! (below, right).

By Jeff, on September 1st, 2011 Hi everyone!
We just returned from a wonderful (and busy!) 2 week trip to Southern California (below, left). We spent the beginning of the trip at the D23 Expo, a day at Sea World San Diego and another day exploring the L.A. area – including a visit to a Tim Burton exhibit. But the rest of the time was spent at Disneyland (below, left). We visit Disneyland each year, and always find many “magical moments” to be had. One was a show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mary Poppins, Bert, and the Pearly Band (below, right). We’ve never seen it before, and it’s a fantastic show!

By Jeff, on July 8th, 2011 Hi everyone!
The Main Street Fire Station shop, also know as Engine Co.71 (below, left) was scheduled to close to the public this week. We paid a visit last weekend to get some photos around the store. One of the more popular features for guest viewing has been the various fire station patches from around the country (below, right). We were told that they were to be temporarily displayed inside City Hall now, but nothing seems known about the plans for the Fire Station itself.

Pirate Angelica from the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is now making a splash in Adventureland! She is not only featured on the Tortuga Tavern sign (below, left), but now greeting guests at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (below, right). She was previously greeting guests at the Adventureland Veranda while her new permanent location was being readied (we have video of my Angelica interview HERE).

By Jeff, on April 12th, 2011 Hi everyone!
We went to the Magic Kingdom today to check out the new Beast’s Castle that went up this weekend (below, left). It’s amazing to see it rising from behind the wall! I especially enjoyed watching as a turret was lifted from below the castle to it’s proper place on the castle (below, right). Our video below shows that!
