Hi everyone! Today was the first day of Long Lost Friends Week (the second one of the year – see our coverage of week #1 HERE) for Limited Time Magic. Signs were posted letting everyone know who would be meeting (below, left). Chicken Little and Abby Mallard get in position once I tell them that the sky is falling (below, right).

Walt Disney World celebrated May the 4th (Star Wars Day) with a special Limited Time Magic offering. The event felt like a lighter version of Star Wars Weekends, but culminated with a terrific fireworks presentation. Mickey, Minnie, R2MK, Donald and Goofy greeted guests, usually rotating among the characters but occasionally all together (below, left). Minnie and Mickey look on at R2MK (below, right).
Whats Happening Celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Darth Goofy, Disney's Hollywood Studios, DJ Lobot, el Pato Donald, Epcot, Jedi Mickey, Jedi Training Academy, Jedi Training Academy with Adults, Jose Carioca, Leia Minnie, Limited Time Magic, Panchito, R2MK, Star Wars Land, Star Wars May The 4th Be With You, Stormtrooper Donald, Symphony in the Sky Fireworks, Three Caballeros, Walt Disney World Hi everyone! This week’s Limited Time Magic offering is “Celebrate Fairies Week”, with Tinker Bell greeting with more of her fairy friends in Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook than usual. This location tends to have long waits most of the time (Space Mountain had a 25 minute stand-by wait when Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook was holding steady at an hour).
Whats Happening Alice, Brave, Disney Fairies Week, Epcot, Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, Fawn, Gargoyles, Iridessa, Limited Time Magic, Mad Hatter, Mad Hatter Duffy bear, Magic Kingdom, Monsters University topiary, Periwinkle, Princess Merida, Rosetta, Silvermist, Terence, Tinker bell, Tinker Bell's Magical Nook, Vidia Hi everyone! This week is True Love Week at Disney’s Magic Kingdom for Limited Time Magic (below, left). Princes joined their princesses in greeting guests, and it’s been extremely popular. Cinderella poses with Prince Charming (below, right) in front of a True Love wreath.
Whats Happening Adventureland, Aladdin, Bert and Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Disney's True Love Week, Flynn Rider, Jasmine, Limited Time Magic, Magic Kingdom, Mickey & Minnie, Prince Charming, Prince Naveen, Prince Philip, Princess Aurora, Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Town Square Theater, True Love Week, Valentine's Day Hi everyone! Long Lost Friends Week is now over at the Magic Kingdom, but we enjoyed one last visit with some of our favorite characters before they went away! We went to visit The Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf with the Weekly Walt Disney World group, and our party of 20 brought forks. You can see the reactions of the pigs to the forks (below left and right)!

This update will be a mix of old and new, as Long Lost Friends Week has proved quite popular at the Magic Kingdom for Limited Time Magic (below, left). I’ve met all of the characters in the past – and some look similar, some look very different than their former long-lost selves. Robin Hood meets guests with Friar Tuck, The Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John, (below, right) this week!

We went to Epcot today to check out the new “Limited Time Magic” experience that promised snow and characters in the Canada pavilion. The setup was along the water (below, left) and had a few props that looked like they came from the Canadian storyteller. Chip, Dale, Donald and Daisy were there to greet guests (below, right).
