Hi everyone! Walt Disney World celebrated Halloween across property starting on October 30th at Downtown Disney (a sign is shown below, left) and continuing into October 31st. Trick or Treating was available both days at Downtown Disney, as well as entertainment and stilt walkers dressed in Halloween costumes (below, right).

Today we have another update from Walt Disney World beginning with Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. Space Mountain has a new sign when you enter the attraction on the PeopleMover, which coincides with the new colors on the sign up front (below, left). A Space Mountain car climbs the track for testing (below, right).
Hi everyone! The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is now in full swing! There is a new display in front of Spaceship Earth (below, left) and one in between Future World and World Showcase (below, right).
Hi everyone! While I was at the D23 Expo in California, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (Wedway People Mover) re-opened in Florida. It has allowed for some better looks at the construction area that includes the front of Space Mountain and the former Skyway station (below, left). Inside of Space Mountain, a sign is up announcing the upcoming re-launching of the ride in winter of 2009 (below, right).
Hi everyone! There is so much going on around Walt Disney World – the first Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party is tonight, and I will be sharing photos from it this weekend! The most interesting part of my day yesterday was seeing the Space Mountain sign and Fast Pass machines stripped, as well as the Tomorrowland Skyway station partly torn down (My vintage footage of the Magic Kingdoms Tomorrowland can be found on my DVD, Tomorrowland Classics). You can see below that the Space Mountain sign has been stripped of all color (below, left). Construction vehicles are parked in front of the Space Mountain building (below, right).
Hi everyone! Halloween has taken over the Magic Kingdom, and it’s only 3 days until the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Signs for the party are now outside of the park (below, left) and the train station is decked out with decor (below, right).
Continue reading Magic Kingdom Update: Halloween Decorations – Photos and Video Hi everyone! I’m hard at work finishing up the Polynesian Resort DVD that should be released within one week. In the meantime, please check out Mousesteps.com for both a poll to vote for my next resort DVD, as well as to enter a contest to win one of the newly released Polynesian Resort screensavers! It turned out beautifully, and will make a wonderful Christmas present for anyone who loves the resort. The contest ends on November 7th.
