Magic Kingdom One More Disney Day Highlights: Mickey & Minnie in PJ’s, Special Bakery Items, Main Street Vehicles, Castle Dance Party, Sunrise and More! – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We decided a couple of days before “One More Disney Day” at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) that we’d attend for at least a few hours in the evening. We arrived at about 8pm, figuring we’d stay until 2am or so. It turned out, we stayed all night! Friends of ours had been there since 6am, and received free commemorative Mickey Ears (limited to the first 3000 guests) and all guests received One More Disney Day buttons (below, right).

Buy it Now – Jeff Lange’s Holiday Treat 2011 (Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2011)

Seasons Greetings from Jeff Lange! Celebrate the holidays with this new DVD featuring the 2011 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World.

Holiday Entrance Scenes

Mickey appears as a festive Christmas ornament in front of the Main Street Train Station, outlined by sparkling lights. Garland is draped above the “Let the Memories Begin!” sign, with trees flanking the merry display. Follow the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party banner through the tunnel, where you’ll meet Mickey & Minnie and Duffy the  Disney Bear in their holiday outfits!

Cinderella’s Holiday Wish (Castle Lighting)

The Christmas Castle Dream Lights have been delighting audiences each Christmas season since 2007. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald gather together with the Fairy Godmother, trying to figure out how Cinderella Castle should be decorated. Cinderella and Prince Charming soon appear, and Cinderella’s wish of a castle that resembles her sparkling slipper is brought to life!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

You’ll enjoy perfect viewing of this holiday tradition as you face Cinderella Castle with the procession gliding toward you on Main Street, U.S.A.! Snowflakes gently fall as Duffy the Disney Bear makes his parade debut on Mickey and Minnie’s float. Also new for this year are snow skiers in front of Chip and Dale. Returning favorites include the gingerbread men, toy soldiers, prancing reindeer, and the big man himself – Santa Claus!

The Magic, The Memories and You! (Holiday Segment)

Bowing in early 2011, this show has dazzled guests with amazing and vibrant projections on Cinderella Castle. Its quick popularity has now made way for this new holiday segment, which features Cinderella Castle wrapped as a Christmas gift. As the gift opens, the castle is shown in various forms – including as a gingerbread house, the Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary castle cake, and you’ll even catch a glimpse of Santa and his reindeer!

Holiday Wishes Fireworks: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season

This fireworks spectacular lights up the sky over the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle. The show is a combination of six “acts”: The Spirit of the Season, The Spirit of Holiday Wonder, The Spirit of Sharing Hearth and Family, The Spirit of Holiday Childhood Fantasies, The Holiday Spirit in Each of Us, and Christmas All Around Us!

Celebrate the Season Show

Mickey and Minnie join their friends at the castle forecourt stage to celebrate the holiday season in a dazzling spectacle that ends with a bang! Donald, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Goofy interact with a lively cast of performers in a “joyous celebration” that features Minnie receiving her Christmas gift from Mickey. This holiday extravaganza is not to be missed!

Very Merry Party Scenes

The ever-popular Phineas and Ferb make their first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party appearance, greeting guests in Tomorrowland! Space Mountain and the buildings around the Magic Kingdom create a series of backdrops for vivid snowflake projections. As you stroll down Main Street, window displays and toy soldiers greet you. The second floor of the Train Station offers a sweeping view, and you’ll linger just a moment to enjoy a last look at the holiday decorations as the Party comes to a close.
