Hi everyone! Radiator Springs at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, left) is testing with Cast Members for a few days, we didn’t know that when we stopped by to have lunch! We spent a few hours taking photos and video of the newly opened area (official opening is June 18th), and we were very impressed with all the details we found.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort opened to the public on May 31st (below, left)! We booked a room for one night so that we could experience it first hand. There was a Grand Opening celebration, which included a wide variety of Disney characters, including Chip and Dale (below, right). We attended the final evening of Snow White’s Scary Adventures at The Magic Kingdom (below, left). This was an opening day attraction, and it’s always sad to lose one of those. Snow White’s Scary Adventures is closing to make way for Princess Fairytale Hall, a meet and greet area for the Disney princesses to be part of the New Fantasyland. I first rode Snow White’s Adventures in 1971, and it was quite different back then – there was a lot more of the witch, and no Snow White. The Evil Queen and a young Snow White (below, right) even paid a visit on Friday night.
Hi everyone! “The Magic, The Memories and You!” debuted it’s summer edition on Friday night at the Magic Kingdom. The new segment begins with a blink-or-you-miss-it appearance by Phineas and Ferb on Cinderella Castle (below, left). Cinderella Castle is shown as a huge sand castle, complete with shells (below, right). Check out more Phineas and Ferb HERE.
Hi everyone! We were heading to Epcot today to dine at the Mexico pavilion’s La Hacienda (thanks to our friends Kelly and June!), and we’d been told that Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast) and Wendy Darling (from Peter Pan) were greeting guests. Both Gaston (below, left) and Wendy were testing, likely for meet-and-greets in the new Fantasyland. Gaston was quite the hit with the women, as one grabs a load of his muscular arm (below, right).

Yesterday was a very busy day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for opening day of Star Wars Weekends! We arrived about a half hour before the Celebrity Motorcade, yet the streets were already fully lined with guests. Jedi Mickey leads the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade with Darth Goofy, Princess Leia Minnie, and Stormtrooper Donald (below, right).

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the Magic Kingdom, heading first to the new Disney/Pixar’s BRAVE Princess Merida meet and greet location. A Cast Member in Scottish clothing welcomed us (below, left). Princess Merida now has her bow and arrow prop (below, right). This is the same Merida that we met at Epcot last week! We have a video from Epcot that has made it’s way into online newspapers and large websites.
