Radiator Springs at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, left) is testing with Cast Members for a few days, we didn’t know that when we stopped by to have lunch! We spent a few hours taking photos and video of the newly opened area (official opening is June 18th), and we were very impressed with all the details we found.

Signs are appearing around Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! The first appearance of the logo sign was on the security building (which is hard to see). Now, it’s on the main building in the front of the resort (below, left). In the Cars section, a Radiator Springs Cadillac Range sign has gone up (below, right). It is only a few months until the first phase of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort opens to the public.

Lightning McQueen made his debut yesterday at the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show (below, left) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. McQueen started performing at Disneyland Paris, in their Moteurs…Action! Stunt Show Spectacular a few months ago, and has was originally expected to make it here earlier in the summer. Before the show begins, Larry the Cable Guy (below, right) does a short plug for the film Cars 2 onscreen that also included brief interviews with Owen Wilson.

We visited a number of restaurants (both to eat and to take pictures) during our 2 night Christening cruise on the Disney Dream. On the morning we docked at Castaway Cay, we stopped in to take photos of Remy and Palo. Remy is the most upscale dining experience that the Disney Cruise Line has ever offered. When walking upstairs to the restaurant, you see Ratatouille inspired artwork (below, left). The Remy sign is (below, right).
