Hi everyone! Star Wars Weekends 2013 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is in full swing, kicking off on Friday with Jedi Mickey leading the Legends of the Force Celebrity Motorcade (below, left). Chewbacca (below, right) was in top form, showing off his dance moves along the parade route!

Yesterday was a very busy day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for opening day of Star Wars Weekends! We arrived about a half hour before the Celebrity Motorcade, yet the streets were already fully lined with guests. Jedi Mickey leads the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade with Darth Goofy, Princess Leia Minnie, and Stormtrooper Donald (below, right).

The third Star Wars Weekend was a tremendous amount of fun! We secured a terrific location again for the motorcade that is led by Jedi Mickey (below, left) and includes Clone Wars actress Ashley Eckstein (below, right). Ashley is the host of the Clone Wars seminar during all 4 weekends. Hi everyone! We made it to Star Wars Weekends early enough last week to enjoy the motorcade that is led by Jedi Mickey (below, left). The 501st Florida Garrison and 501st Rebel Legion are always on hand to lend the parade authenticity (below, right).

We arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Sunday afternoon to enjoy Star Wars Weekends. It was our second visit this weekend, the first was Friday when George Lucas made an appearance to dedicate the newly re-opened Star Tours attraction (below, left). Jedi Mickey (below, right) is one of many characters that pose with guests during this popular event!
Whats Happening Anthony Daniels, Chewbacca, Daniel Logan, Dave Filoni, Disney's Hollywood Studios, George Lucas, James Arnold Taylor, Jedi Mickey, Obi-Wan and Beyond starring James Arnold Taylor and a Galaxy of Voices, Star Tours, Star Wars Weekends, Stars of the Saga Stormtroopers, The Hyperspace Hoopla, The Padawan Mind Challenge Hi everyone! We had a terrific time at the Star Tours Meet-Up, which was at midnight on Thursday, May 20th – the grand opening day of “Star Tours – The Adventure Continues“. We’d already ridden this updated attraction twice in the previous week during soft openings. Parking was at Blizzard Beach, and we arrived at 10:45 to check in. We waited on the bus (below, left) for about 45 minutes until it was time to be taken to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The red carpet and smoke (below, right) from an event earlier in the evening was still out for us.
Hi everyone! I’ve already shown some of the highlights from the first two days of Star Wars Celebration V, here are some from the rest of the convention! Anthony Daniels (below left and right) was one of the special guests for the weekend with host Jay Laga’aia. He is always very entertaining.
