I’ve been having a great time at Star Wars Celebration V! We’ve not had a lot of time to do an update, the schedule is jam packed and we’ve wanted to see (and photograph) everything we can. The convention center (below, left) has banners that announce the big event! The Death Star (below, right) hovers over the guests arriving into the building.

Guests crowd the Disney booth (below, left). The new Starspeeder 1000 (below, right) sits alongside artwork, pins, racers, and many more items for sale to guests at Celebration V.
Anthony Daniels (below, left) surprised everyone in our audience for Jason Surrells talk (below, right), discussing The Last Tour to Endor, Star Tours re-imagined, and Indiana Jones. The Last Tour to Endor sounds like a one-of-a-kind evening for Star Wars and Star Tours fans with many surprises in store!
I full size imperial fighter is on display (below left) and variety of Slave Leia’s (one is below, right) pose with Jabba the Hutt.

R2-MK paid a special visit to the collectors panel on Star Wars Disney merchandise (below, left – We have video of him at Star Wars Weekends HERE). Quynh Campbell, Graphic Designer joins Product Developers Brad Schoenberg and Cody Hampton (below, right), in a very interesting discussion that includes an exclusive look at upcoming merchandise.
The Star Speeder 1000 (below, left) is not the only transportation vehicle in the galaxy – it will be joined by other ride vehicles soon (below, right).
The Star Speeder 1000 (below, left) will also be made as a 1/64th diecast vehicle and a larger version that can fit your action figures (below, right). The fan below in his Jabba the Hutt costume (complete with voice) gave us our biggest laugh of the day.. he was great!
Mark Hamill appeared and spoke for an hour (below, left). Host Jay Laga’aia didn’t have to do much talking, Hamill took the reigns from the first minute and entertained the audience with a lot of stories.
Hamill puts two pillows around his head (below, left) after viewing his appearance on the Muppet Show. After an hour with the audience, Hamill says goodbye (below, right).
Warwick Davis (below, left and right) was next up on the same stage. I’ve seen him many times at Star Wars Weekends, and he’s always a lot of fun. We were able to get a first look at his upcoming TV fake documentary show “Life’s too short” he’s working on with the talented Ricky Gervais as well.
I knew nothing about the Robot Chicken Empire (below, left) before seeing this panel featuring Seth Green, Matt Senreich, Tim Root and Joey Fatone (below right) – but now I need to see them all!
