Hi everyone! We were in Washington DC for a long weekend (through Tuesday), and jumped back into the saddle by visiting the Magic Kingdom yesterday. A lot has changed since we’ve been out of town! The Main Street Confectionery scrim has been removed, revealing a vibrant red border on a white exterior (below left and right). You will see in the video that a portion of the Confectionery that is facing the Emporium (inwards towards Main Street) is now in a pink art-deco style as well.

Hi everyone! The third Star Wars Weekend was a tremendous amount of fun! We secured a terrific location again for the motorcade that is led by Jedi Mickey (below, left) and includes Clone Wars actress Ashley Eckstein (below, right). Ashley is the host of the Clone Wars seminar during all 4 weekends. Hi everyone! I spent the day with friends on Saturday, taking some time to get photos and video of changes to the Magic Kingdom since we were last there. The first stop was the Haunted Mansion (below, left), which has added directional signs showing the way to the “scenic route” and the “direct route” (below, right), depending on whether you want to see the interactive queue or not.
Hi everyone! We made it to Star Wars Weekends early enough last week to enjoy the motorcade that is led by Jedi Mickey (below, left). The 501st Florida Garrison and 501st Rebel Legion are always on hand to lend the parade authenticity (below, right).

A couple of weeks ago we were able to tour the incredible and spacious 2-level Presidential Suite at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort (below, left). The balcony itself was one of the largest I’ve ever seen for one resort suite, you can see it in the photo (below, right), spanning much of the Dolphin at it’s highest room level (above the suite there are windows but no real rooms).
Hi everyone! Phineas and Ferb’s new Meet & Play debuted yesterday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we were there for opening day! The title of the Meet & Play is “We’re Making a Movie – The Movie” (below, left). Phineas and Ferb pose for us as they rock out on their air guitars (below, right). This was their first day, and there will be a few changes in the upcoming weeks (mostly to the background).
