Hi everyone! The Orange Bird has landed back at the Magic Kingdom! We signed up for the D23 event, where the unveiling of the Orange Bird was met with enthusiasm. There are new posters under the Main Street Train Station featuring the Sunshine Tree Terrace (below, left). The Orange Bird is now visible above the sign at the Terrace as well (below, right).

The Avengers Monorail debuted today on the Express Loop at Walt Disney World (below, left). Captain America, Thor and Iron Man are among the super heroes on the wrapped train (below, right). It was a rainy day when we arrived at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but it started clearing up soon after. We had been told that the Avengers monorail might be taken soon from the beam, but it was there for the entire time we were.

We have another installment from our Disneyland trip last month! On Denise’s birthday, we paid a visit to one of the Disneyland Resort’s newest additions, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar (below, left). The bar is a fun mix of The Jungle Cruise, Adventurer’s Club, Enchanted Tiki Room, and more. A tiki stands guard above the bar (below, left) and you can see two tiki drummers like the ones you’ll find in the Enchanted Tiki Room (below, right).
Hi everyone! We spent December 23rd at Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – then we were back at the Fort again for Christmas Eve. We love it there! Pioneer Hall is festive with garland and wreaths (below left), and sleigh rides were just beginning as we arrived (below, right). I first stayed at the Fort Wilderness campground as a kid with my parents in 1971 and it’s always nice to make more memories there.
Hi everyone! We went back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday to check out the additions to Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream (below left and right). While there, some friends who are cast members invited us to the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights cast preview as well!

I spent yesterday at the Magic Kingdom, where there are many changes afoot. Entering past Cinderella Castle (below, right), I headed to Liberty Square. A year after the updated Hall of Presidents (below, right) premiered, it is still as popular and well received as it was then. I am currently working on a Hall of Presidents DVD that will feature the 3 previous versions as well as the current version and more. Check back here for details and release information.
