Hi everyone! We stopped by Disney’s Pop Century Resort yesterday to get photos of the construction at the upcoming Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below left and right), formerly it was to be Disney’s Pop Century Legendary Years. Hi everyone! We spent December 23rd at Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – then we were back at the Fort again for Christmas Eve. We love it there! Pioneer Hall is festive with garland and wreaths (below left), and sleigh rides were just beginning as we arrived (below, right). I first stayed at the Fort Wilderness campground as a kid with my parents in 1971 and it’s always nice to make more memories there.
Hi everyone! It was a beautiful day on Saturday for the last day of the Disney Parks Christmas Parade taping. Cinderella Castle looked beautiful (below, left). We didn’t show up until 11:30 in the morning, and had missed several of the acts – but what we saw was just enough this year. Cast member Billy Flanagan (below, right) was back to entertain guests in between takes.
Hi everyone! The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at the Magic Kingdom now has an incredible new queue (below, left)! It’s not quite finished, but most has been open and it is quite interactive. There are gopher holes just beyond this light (below, right), and you need to step on pads to get the gophers to pop up!
Hi everyone! Christmas has officially arrived at the Magic Kingdom. We were there for the first Cinderella’s Holiday Wish Castle Lighting, it was wonderful to see it again! It wasn’t on the schedule, but we were told by a friend that it’d be debuting last night. The castle looked beautiful as it was prepped for the show (below, left). Goofy, Donald, Minnie and Mickey await Cinderella to arrive and let everyone know what her holiday wish for the castle would be (below, right).
Hi everyone! Yesterday was gorgeous, a perfect day for the United States Air Force Thunderbirds flyover that was part of Air Force Week in Central Florida. The Main Street Philharmonic (below, left) played to the crowds before the parade. Members of the Thunderbirds and other Air Force members (below, right) were the Grand Marshals of the parade.
Hi everyone! We’ve been busy the last few days, including our visit to the new Tangled “Play and Greet” at the Magic Kingdom (below, left). It is located where Storytime with Belle used to be in the Fairytale Garden. Flynn Rider and Rapunzel pose for guests while we waited in line to be let into the next meet-and-greet (below, right).
