Magic Kingdom Fantasyland Update, Epcot Weekend Update and Concert Series: Herman’s Hermits with Peter Noone – Photos and Videos

Hi everyone!

The walls are now up around Ariel’s Grotto, and they may have gone up today at Pooh’s Playful Spot as well (we’ll be back there on Thursday to check it out). We first stopped at Ariel’s Grotto on Sunday, to see it one last time before it closed. You can see the dining area (below, left) and the statue of Ariel (below, right).

D-Street at Downtown Disney, Mexico Cantina Construction and Ridley Pearson at Epcot – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

D-Street (bottom, left) opened last week – we missed the Annual Passholder event (actually, we didn’t know about it until after it happened!), but it was fun to stop by and have a look around at all the Disney treasures from places like the Adventurers Club, such as the zebra display case (below, right).

Magic Kingdom Happy Easter Parade, Epcot Bunnies and Easter Egg Hunts, Tony Orlando and more – Photos and Videos

Hi everyone –

I had a great Easter Sunday at Walt Disney World! Did you know that there is still an Easter pre-parade at the Magic Kingdom? The last full parade was in 2000, but there is currently a procession that includes the Easter Bunny, as well as springtime themed characters and the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids.

The flowers are blooming in front of Cinderella Castle (below, left) and Scuttle keeps watch at Ariel’s Grotto, which is set to close soon for the Fantasyland expansion (below, right).

Tron Legacy 2010 Monorail “TRONorail” Debuted Today on the Epcot Monorail Line – Photos and Videos

Hi everyone!

The sleek, new Tron monorail spent it’s first day out on the beam on the line between Epcot and the TTC (where it is supposed to stay). We read that only the front and back of the monorail (below left and right) were painted, with decals running down the side.  The new “TRONorail” boasts bold colors and looks great out on the track.

Hi everyone!

We made several stops the other day to get photos across property. The Four Seasons construction seems to be coming along more quickly (below left and right).

Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival 2010: Part Two, World Showcase – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

Here is the second part of our Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival update. A few days ago I posted photos of Future World from opening day, and we went back twice over the past few days to get pictures from World Showcase (as well as the Festival Center). You can see Spaceship Earth (below, left) beyond one of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival signs. A windmill (below, right) helps complete the Mickey and Minnie topiary set at the front of World Showcase (below, right).
