Hi everyone! The Magic Kingdom is decked out for Halloween, and Denise took photos from the front of the park to all the way down Main Street USA (see the full set HERE). It looks really good this year, with new garland and wreaths! The display is outside as always for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (below, left). The Magic, Memories and You banner has displaced a couple of pumpkins, which are now inside the park at Town Square. But the front entrance looks great! (below, right).
Hi everyone! We just returned from a wonderful (and busy!) 2 week trip to Southern California (below, left). We spent the beginning of the trip at the D23 Expo, a day at Sea World San Diego and another day exploring the L.A. area – including a visit to a Tim Burton exhibit. But the rest of the time was spent at Disneyland (below, left). We visit Disneyland each year, and always find many “magical moments” to be had. One was a show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mary Poppins, Bert, and the Pearly Band (below, right). We’ve never seen it before, and it’s a fantastic show!  Whats Happening  Ariel, Asimo, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, Cinderella, D23 Expo, Disneyland, Disneyland Magical Moments, Disneyland Penny Arcade Dancing Pinnochio Game, Main Street USA, Mickey Mouse, Pearly Band with Mary Poppins & Bert, Penny Arcade, Peter Pan & Captain Hook, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Spieling Peter, Toontown Hi everyone! We attended the D23 Expo this past weekend, and one of our favorite parts of the event was the Carousel of Projects (below, left). This area provided a look at different projects in many areas of the company, including Aulani at the Disney Vacation Club and Fantasyland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The Fantasyland expansion includes the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (below, right), we have video that shares how it will work.
Hi everyone! Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room opened officially this morning, and we were there for the first show (and two subsequent shows)! We arrived at 9am, after being told it might open early. It didn’t. A line curved around Aladdin’s Magic Carpets (below, right) as guests waited for the 10am opening.
Hi everyone! We put up an Enchanted Tiki Room update yesterday, and will be back tomorrow for it’s official grand opening! In the meantime, here are some photos from the Fantasyland expansion. From Dumbo The Flying Elephant, you can see a great view of Beast’s Castle, along with Belle’s Cottage (below left). Work is going on in front of the Little Mermaid building (below, right).
Hi everyone! We stopped by Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room to see if it was open today (below, left). It wasn’t, but it’s still set to open Monday morning (below, right) – and we were able to see the full pre-show and inside the exit doors! Hi everyone! We went to Disney’s Pop Century Resort (below, left) to take photos and video of the continuing progress on the upcoming Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, right). The resort’s sections are themed after The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. The Little Mermaid area is the only one that will have standard rooms as opposed to suites, utilizing the former buildings that were built originally for Pop Century’s never-built “The Legendary Years”.
