Hi everyone! The Epcot International Garden and Festival kicked off it’s 20th year yesterday! The main entrance topiary has changed since we were there the day previous, with hot dogs on the grill (below, left) and Donald and Daisy with their badminton equipment (below, right).

While I was at Daytona International Speedway enjoying the races, Denise headed off to Epcot to see what the progress was on the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. There was a lot to see! The flower quilt near the Imagination Pavilion (below, left) looks vibrant as a monorail glides by. One of our favorite photo areas when the flowers are in bloom is at the Universe of Energy (below, left), where flowers and the pond make for a lovely photo.
Hi everyone! This week is True Love Week at Disney’s Magic Kingdom for Limited Time Magic (below, left). Princes joined their princesses in greeting guests, and it’s been extremely popular. Cinderella poses with Prince Charming (below, right) in front of a True Love wreath.

We have spent a lot of time at Disney resorts this week! We were invited to a Super Bowl get-together at a friend’s Treehouse Villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs resort (below, left). While he’s a DVC member and used his points, the Treehouses can also be reserved by non-DVC guests if available. There is a dedicated pool for the Treehouses (below, right), which is small but includes a jacuzzi as well. We like the frog decorations!

Long Lost Friends Week is now over at the Magic Kingdom, but we enjoyed one last visit with some of our favorite characters before they went away! We went to visit The Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf with the Weekly Walt Disney World group, and our party of 20 brought forks. You can see the reactions of the pigs to the forks (below left and right)!

I’ve met all of the characters in the past – and some look similar, some look very different than their former long-lost selves. Robin Hood meets guests with Friar Tuck, The Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John, (below, right) this week!

We went to Epcot today to check out the new “Limited Time Magic” experience that promised snow and characters in the Canada pavilion. The setup was along the water (below, left) and had a few props that looked like they came from the Canadian storyteller. Chip, Dale, Donald and Daisy were there to greet guests (below, right).
