Hi everyone! It was a chilly morning when the parade taping started (7am was when I needed to be there, and it must have been in the low 50’s). Camera’s were being set up (below, left) and thousands of guests filled Main Street USA to learn their dance moves for the opening Jonas Brothers number! (below, right).
Cinderella Castle was set for the Jonas Brothers (below, left) who started playing from the castle stage (below, right) before walking to the hub stage for the rest of their song.
Hi everyone! I spent half the day at the Magic Kingdom for the “Disney Parks” parade filming on Friday. It took a little while for the day to get started, but it was fun and interesting to be part of my first taping. The Goodyear Blimp flew over the park (below, left) and cameras were focused on the castle for the first act to take the stage, Yanni and Yanni Voices (below, right).

I was able to see some of the more popular holiday and Christmas displays yesterday around the Boardwalk resort area. The first display I visited was a gingerbread carousel at the Beach Club Resort, which is in it’s 10th year (below, left). Tinker Bell sits atop the carousel (below, right).
Hi everyone! Walt Disney World has been adding holiday/Christmas decor for the last few weeks, and most of it is now in place (but not all yet!) Epcot added it’s main topiary this past weekend, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy (below left and right).
Hi everyone! Christmas is arriving at Walt Disney World, and everything should be up and decorated in the next week. The Contemporary Resort decorated just a couple of days back, with it’s tree out front (below, left) and a new Mary Blair inspired gingerbread display! (below, right)
Hi everyone! Space Mountain is currently in soft opening, and I was fortunate enough to get to ride 3 times yesterday. The attraction was set to stay open until midnight for the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, I’m not sure if it made it quite that late. It was to be the first day it was open past 7pm. The front of the attraction has changed, as we’ve noted through the last month (below, left). Inside the doors is a welcome to Starport Seven-Five, a reference to the year Space Mountain opened at Walt Disney World (below, right).
