Hi everyone! I wanted to share some screen captures from my DVD “Disneyland Parade Classics” of the 1985 Very Merry Christmas Parade. This is unlike any parade you’ll see today! The beginning of this procession features characters and floats from classic films such as Alice in Wonderland, with teapots (below, left) and the playing cards (below, right).
Continue reading A Look Back at Disneyland’s Very Merry Christmas Parade 1985 Hi everyone! It was a chilly morning when the parade taping started (7am was when I needed to be there, and it must have been in the low 50’s). Camera’s were being set up (below, left) and thousands of guests filled Main Street USA to learn their dance moves for the opening Jonas Brothers number! (below, right).
Cinderella Castle was set for the Jonas Brothers (below, left) who started playing from the castle stage (below, right) before walking to the hub stage for the rest of their song.
