Hi everyone! We went back to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort yesterday to see both the Halloween golf cart parade as well as to enjoy a Halloween version of Mickey’s Backyard BBQ! Our favorite golf cart was the Mad Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland (below, left). The guests said it took them 3 months to build! There were many unique and wonderful entries into the contest, including Peter Pan and Captain Hook (below, right) with a pirate ship – and more characters – behind them.
Hi everyone! Yesterday we spent the day at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground with friends (some who had never previously visited) to enjoy the Halloween decorations and nighttime campfire. We had a great day touring the grounds and checking out the remnants of River Country and the Fort Wilderness Railroad. In the evening we attended the Campfire which included Chip & Dale dressed in their Halloween costumes (below, left) and the Pumpkin Decorating Contest (below, right) winner announcements!
Hi everyone! We stopped yesterday at Disney’s Pop Century Resort to takes photos and video of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort as it progresses (below, left). It looks really colorful! Denise thinks the coral (below, right) looks like a pack of McDonald’s french fries, so she’s now calling the main pool the “french fry pool”. 🙂
Hi everyone! We were planning to stay home and work on our latest Fantasyland update today, but found out about an interactive test going on at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (below, left). Cubot, which looks like a set of blocks from a toy box, debuted today – but it’s heading to Hong Kong Disneyland very soon! The test is occurring today and tomorrow (October 11th and 12th, 2011). Hi everyone! We spent Tuesday at Epcot for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (below, left), the theme this year is Passport to a World of Flavors (below, left). Suitcases are also part of the scenery both on the way into the park, and out (below, right).  Whats Happening  38 Special, Discover the Cranberry, Duffy the Disney Bear, Eat to the Beat Concert Series, Epcot, Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Hawaii booth, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Passport to a World of Flavors, Port of Entry, School Bread, Spaceship Earth, Walt Disney World Hi everyone! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is bursting with color (below, left), with fish and coral popping in 3D from the sides of the Finding Nemo buildings (below, right). It’s been over a month since we last stopped by the resort, and it was pretty exciting to see all the changes! Hi everyone! We have a new Fantasyland expansion update today, with photos and video from yesterday! It was nearly a half hour wait for Dumbo the Flying Elephant to get some of our footage, but it allowed a great view over the fence of the Beast’s Castle area (below, left) and The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (below, right).
