Disney unveiled it’s newest pre-parade yesterday, featuring performing cast members as well as honorary voluntEars, and Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Sweetums from the Muppets. We started at Frontierland for video and photos, before moving to Main Street USA. The new “Disney’s Honorary VoluntEARs Calvacade” (below left and right) kicks off a year that celebrates volunteers, giving free tickets to guests who volunteer a day of their time. You do need to sign up and be verified before receiving your free ticket.
Two vehicles are part of the procession, each carrying volunteers (below, left) while cast members in colorful costumes dance in the streets (below, right) to a new version of “Celebrate You“.

Props on the carts being pushed by cast members include gardening supplies and paint (below, left). Miss Piggy and Kermit – followed by Sweetums – make their way down Main Street (below, right).
Miss Piggy and Kermit celebrate volunteering, saying (Kermit) “Volunteering brings out the best in everyone” Miss Piggy agrees and says “Especially moi” (below left and right).
Sweetums ends the parade, running down the street with a saw (below, left) and gives a high-five to a guest before going offstage (below, right).
