I had the special opportunity to see Buzz Aldrin at the Magic Kingdom, as well as witness the ticker tape for Buzz Lightyear (who just came back after being in space!) The sign (below, left) commemorates the day. Buzz Aldrin (below, right) was the first astronaut to come down the street. He did a book signing later that was very popular.
Astronaut Mike Fincke (below left and right) spent 6 months aboard the International Space Station.
The ticker tape part of the parade was for Buzz Lightyear, who recently returned after 15 months aboard the International Space Station (below left and right).
A long line of guests winded out the doors of Exposition Hall to meet Buzz Aldrin and have him sign his new book (below left and right).
Mike Fincke did a terrific presentation as well, answering questions from the audience (below left and right).
