By Jeff, on March 11th, 2010 Hi everyone!
Today I got my new upgraded annual pass, the Disney Premiere Passport as announced yesterday during the Walt Disney Company shareholder meeting. I was told I was the first Disneyland/WDW passholder to receive this new pass today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Guest Relations (the cast members were excited and even took a picture). I was also told there are currently just over seven hundred duel coast pass-holders who qualify for the free upgrade to this new Premier Passport.

Epcot is full steam ahead with preparations for it’s International Flower and Garden Festival. The movie “Oceans” (below, left) by DisneyNature is represented just as the film “Earth” was last year. Keep checking back for what Disney has in store for the Ocean’s display! Mickey and Minnie Mouse are now part of two topiaries, one being at the America Adventure Pavilion, and this one at the entrance to World Showcase (below, right).

Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees celebrated his victory at the Magic Kingdom today! His was the 42nd in a series of commercials that started in 1987 with the immortal words, “I’m going to Disney World“! Prior to his motorcade, the crowd is revved up (below, left). Not that we needed it! Guests get ready (below, right) for Drew Brees to make his way down Main Street USA.

Tomorrowland’s Space Mountain has finally unveiled the end of it’s post-show. It’s really not that different than previously, with monitors showing guests as they pass by. The attraction was not too busy today, with waits between 10 minutes and 30 minutes this afternoon (below, left). The queue was nearly empty on the first ride (below, right).

By Jeff, on January 28th, 2010 Hi everyone!
It’s been about a week since we’ve been to the Walt Disney World theme parks, and much has happened in the meantime. The Main Street USA train station is undergoing some sort of rehab (below, left). I’ve not seen any information about this elsewhere as to what is going on. Brochures showing the ice castle and Splash Mountain (below, left) show what is not available to guests currently at the park.

By Jeff, on January 25th, 2010 Hi everyone!
We’ve been experiencing beautiful weather in Orlando after the freezing temps at the start of the year. Off-season is a transitional time at Walt Disney World, and much of the update will have to do with that. We also have a few videos to share, including “I’m Walking Right Down the Middle of Main Street USA“. One photo of the performance is below, left and you can scroll down to see the video. New blooms have been planted and you can see some of them in front of the Crystal Palace, which is in the middle of it’s rehab (below, right).

By admin, on January 11th, 2010 Hi everyone!
Here are some photos from near the end of the Walt Disney World Marathon 2010! Props to everyone who ran this endurance race, especially in the colder weather – it’s been literally freezing in Orlando, we even had light snow and sleet! It didn’t stop friends and family from cheering the runners on (below left and right).
