Hi everyone! We always enjoy the holidays at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, and Christmas Eve was no exception this year! The decoratons on Pioneer Hall (below, left), were festive and the resort’s main Christmas tree was surrounded by poinsettias (below, right).

We enjoyed a day at the Magic Kingdom this weekend (below, left). The Christmas tree in Town Square is now up (below, right). The tree is currently placed in the Magic Kingdom after the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping.

We’ve been spending a lot of time around property, checking out the resorts and parks for Christmas (we are trying to get to 8 or so resorts tomorrow!) The Swan and Dolphin (below, left) really did a great job of decking the halls this year – more than ever. The Walt Disney World Swan Resort has an incredible chocolate Santa display (below, right) that is 3 million calories!
Hi everyone! It’s been a warm Thanksgiving here in Florida, you can see the bright blue skies that enveloped the Magic Kingdom on the day these first photos were taken (below, left). Two toy soldiers greet guests at Candy Cane Garden, displaying the number of days left until Christmas (below, right).
Whats Happening A Holly Jolly Christmas, AMC at Downtown Disney, Christmas at Walt Disney World, Coke Freestyle dispensers, Fork & Screen, Harry Potter menu, Magic Kingdom Christmas, Magic Kingdom Christmas Window Displays, Main Street Streetmosphere, Mickey's Christmas Carol, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor Hi everyone! The Magic Kingdom is almost fully decked-out for Christmas (Toontown was not dressed yet). The garland is up on Main Street USA (below, left) and Candy Cane Garden (next to City Hall) is where Santa will be listening to the wish lists of children visiting the park!
Allwine is the third person to voice the beloved character. He started in 1977 working on “The New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse“. Through the years, he has provided countless hours giving a voice to Mickey, including the film, “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and even for the “Kingdom Hearts” video game series. He was named a Disney Legend in 2008. Wayne was also a good friend to the Disney fan community appearing at numerous NFFC and Disneyana conventions to give a face to the voice of the famous mouse. Allwine leaves behind a wife, Russi Taylor, who is the current voice of Minnie Mouse. They were married in Hawaii in 1991. Wayne Allwine, the voice of Disney’s Mickey Mouse for the past 30 years, has died from complications of diabetes. He was 62.
