Not So Scary Entrance Scenes
Your Not-So-Scary fun begins upon entering through the Magic Kingdom turnstiles! Once you’ve donned your Party wristband and picked up a treat bag, it’s time for the merriment to begin. Town Square is bustling with characters, including the debut of Jack and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”! You’ll also visit Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween finery, and Lots-o’-Huggin Bear is waiting to give you an embrace. Phineas and Ferb pump up the crowds before Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade!
Headless Horseman
Hooves slap against the pavement as you await the arrival of the Horseman from Sleepy Hollow. New, foreboding music heralds his entrance. Sparks shoot from the ground as the horse gallops by, with it’s famed rider holding an illuminated Jack-O-Lantern in his gloved hand. This video footage is taken from five different angles!
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
“It’s not so very scary” as many of your favorite Disney characters, from Mickey & Minnie to the Hitchhiking Ghosts, mix with Halloween themed floats that include a pirate ship, Haunted Mansion gravestones and more! The Grave Digger Precision Drill Team delights as always, with sparks flying from the end of their shovels as they scrape the pavement. New for this year are the large candy corn floats at the end of the parade!
Happy HalloWishes Fireworks
Your “Ghost Host” guides you through this feast of sights and sounds, as vibrant bursts of color combine with dazzling projections to light up the night. View the 180 degree fireworks finale in all it’s splendor, recorded from multiple angles. These Party exclusive fireworks are not a trick, but a spooktacular Halloween treat!

This villainous dance show features bright costumes and energetic dance sequences! Dr. Facilier takes center stage for this show, with many of your favorite villains including Malificent, Cruella DeVil and the Queen of Hearts joining in the proceedings! Recorded from multiple angles.
Haunted Mansion at Midnight
The clock strikes midnight as fog rolls over the Haunted Mansion, enveloping the tombstones as if they are floating on a cloud. “Your time has come”, you are told, as you enter into the Mansion alone. The Haunted Mansion is never more eerie as it is at midnight. This is the entire ride-through of this classic attraction recorded from multiple angles. All 999 Happy Haunts are awaiting your presence – there’s no turning back now…
Haunted Exit Scenes
Your Not-So-Scary night closes with a look at the projections in Tomorrowland, followed by a visit to Adventureland. The Enchanted Tiki Room is open for trick or treating, with the birds watching from above! On your way out of the park, gaze upon the decorated windows on Main Street. Looking back from Town Square, Cinderella Castle rarely looks as vibrant as it does in the distance between two sets of towering pumpkins. Fog has not yet lifted as you exit the park, enjoying a last lingering look at the Main Street Train Station as your night ends.

By Jeff, on September 13th, 2012 Hi everyone!
We had a great time attending the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season! We had been in California for 11 nights, and missed seeing the Halloween decorations as they were put up. The pumpkins are back in front of the park (below, left), and new decorative lit inflatable balls have been added (below, right). These are in place of the white ones from previous years.

By Jeff, on July 9th, 2012 Hi everyone!
Last week we sent a reporter to the preview of D23 Presents: Treasures of the Disney Archives in Simi Valley, California. The exhibit is being held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library through June 2013, with over 500 artifacts – many that have never been displayed. The entrance to the exhibit shows Walt Disney and Ronald Reagan side by side (below, left), they were longtime friends. We have seen some of the memorabilia items previously, such as this Mickey Mouse animatronic (below, right) from the Mickey Mouse Revue.

By Jeff, on February 13th, 2012 Hi everyone!
Changes at the Magic Kingdom have been happening swiftly! We stopped by the Main Street Fire Station to pick up our Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards to play, and a new banner was out (below, left). We were happy to see the patches are now back inside of the Fire Station, we had been told weeks ago that that would happen (below, right).

Entrance Scenes
New “Let the Memories Begin” welcome sign and banners greet you as you enter the Magic Kingdom turnstiles!
Haunted Mansion Interactive Queue
You’re taking the “scenic route” through the Haunted Cemetery in this detailed tour of the newly enhanced graveyard. Linger on the menacing, marble busts that wait for you at the entrance. This interactive queue features the sea captain’s tomb (watch out for his sneeze, you may get wet!), and a crypt where you use your hands to create eerie sounds. Beloved Imagineer tributes remain, plus some spooky new surprises – there’s no turning back now!
Haunted Mansion Ride
The hitchhiking ghosts are waiting to play – and you just might lose your head! Enjoy a full ride-through of this updated classic attraction, including the stretch room; the new hitchhiking ghosts animatronics; and several versions of the mischievous, interactive ending.
Snow White’s Scary Adventures
This opening day Walt Disney World attraction has been captivating audiences for nearly 40 years. Scheduled to close for the Walt Disney World Fantasyland expansion, you can enjoy it for years to come!
Pirates of the Caribbean
Set sail in your private boat past favorite scenes including Captain Barbossa on the Wicked Wench, multiple appearances from Captain Jack Sparrow, and the famous jail scene! Added this summer to the mist screen is Blackbeard, who replaces Davy Jones. As you walk off the ride, you’ll hear Blackbeard bidding you farewell, and letting you know that “the fates have spoken”.
The Magic, The Memories, and You!
Enjoy a perfect view of this nighttime spectacular, which features breathtaking projections on Cinderella Castle. Gasp as a turret turns into a launching rocket, and as pirates set the castle on fire! Vibrant colors combine with familiar characters, culminating in a conclusion that features Walt Disney projected on the castle, proclaiming, “To all who come to this happy place – welcome”. This is a show you’ll never forget!
BONUS: Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
Shot from Disney’s Polynesian Resort Beach for a complete view of the fireworks, this patriotic arrangement of pyrotechnics has delighted audiences on Independence Day since the show debuted in 2008. With stars bursting in the sky above the
brightly lit American flags of Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant, it’s hard not to get a lump in your throat during the awe-inspiring finale!

By Jeff, on April 5th, 2011 Hi everyone!
We paid a visit to the Haunted Mansion today (below, left) as soon as we heard that the new Hitchhiking Ghosts mirror effect was working! Walking through the queue to check out the new tombstone that had been added about a week ago, we were also pointed to another new addition. In reference to the “Bride’s Ring” that used to be in the pavement near the front of the queue (not really the Bride’s Ring, but everyone liked to say it), there is now really a ring – engagement ring – in the pavement of the interactive queue.
