Hi everyone! We were in Washington DC for a long weekend (through Tuesday), and jumped back into the saddle by visiting the Magic Kingdom yesterday. A lot has changed since we’ve been out of town! The Main Street Confectionery scrim has been removed, revealing a vibrant red border on a white exterior (below left and right). You will see in the video that a portion of the Confectionery that is facing the Emporium (inwards towards Main Street) is now in a pink art-deco style as well.

I spent the day with friends on Saturday, taking some time to get photos and video of changes to the Magic Kingdom since we were last there. The first stop was the Haunted Mansion (below, left), which has added directional signs showing the way to the “scenic route” and the “direct route” (below, right), depending on whether you want to see the interactive queue or not.
Hi everyone! We went to the Magic Kingdom today to check out the new Beast’s Castle that went up this weekend (below, left). It’s amazing to see it rising from behind the wall! I especially enjoyed watching as a turret was lifted from below the castle to it’s proper place on the castle (below, right). Our video below shows that! |
