Hi everyone! I had a great time with friends at the new Harambe Village “Taste of Africa” Street Party. A DJ started by announcing the event prior to Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade (below, left), and the event starts at the end of the parade (below, right).
Hi everyone! We had a great time yesterday at the Winter Haven Orange Dome (below, left), where a Legoland Florida open house was taking place (below, right). When we arrived, the Dome was packed!

Entering past Cinderella Castle (below, right), I headed to Liberty Square. A year after the updated Hall of Presidents (below, right) premiered, it is still as popular and well received as it was then. I am currently working on a Hall of Presidents DVD that will feature the 3 previous versions as well as the current version and more. Check back here for details and release information.
Hi everyone! Walt Disney World pulled out all the stops for a fantastic July 4th weekend! I even was able to meet Ben Franklin at the American Adventure (below, left) and listen as Betsy Ross told us the origins of the American flag (below, right).
Jeff Lange takes you back to July 4th, 1992 for Epcot’s Star Spangled Holiday Spectacular! Just imagine a patriotic version of the Candlelight Processional and you will get an idea of what this special show was all about. The show concludes with a rousing fireworks finale followed by the Epcot 4th of July perimeter fireworks all around World Showcase. SPECIAL BONUS: The Epcot Center favorite, The American Adventure. Ben Franklin and Mark Twain are your hosts for this E-ticket attraction presenting historic figures who shaped our nation. Audio-Animatronics of Thomas Jefferson, Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Here’s what’s in store on July 4 (entertainment and park hours are subject to change without notice):
Magic Kingdom – “Celebrate America Fireworks” will fill the sky at 9 p.m. After the fireworks, guests can enjoy Disney’s “Main Street Electrical Parade” of lights, music and magic at 10 p.m. and midnight. Park hours are 8 a.m.-1 a.m. Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Special fireworks set to a rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack will be presented at 9:50 p.m., providing guests with a bonus nighttime entertainment extravaganza to complement “Fantasmic!” (which will be at 9 and 10:30 p.m.). Park hours are 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Epcot – “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” which features dazzling special effects, colorful lasers, brilliant fireworks and fiery torches all choreographed to a musical score, becomes even more dynamic on July 4 as the normal show is supplemented with a patriotic finale. The performance begins at 10 p.m. Earlier in the day, guests will be treated to the Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert – featuring an expanded cast of singers plus the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and Disney characters – at 12:30, 1:45 and 3 p.m. on the America Gardens Theatre stage. In addition, Betsy Ross will be engaging guests inside The American Adventure with storytelling, while Ben Franklin will be making appearances on the promenade near the attraction. Park hours are 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Guests can enjoy all the regular attractions and shows from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. |
