By Jeff, on January 27th, 2011 Hi everyone!
We continue our Disney Dream coverage with the two Broadway-style shows that we enjoyed. The first is of the Golden Mickeys – A Timeless Tribute (below left and right), I’d seen it back in 2004 and was delighted to get to see it again! The show is patterned after awards shows and features performances of classic Disney songs (and a new sequence based on the film “Tangled“)

We visited a number of restaurants (both to eat and to take pictures) during our 2 night Christening cruise on the Disney Dream. On the morning we docked at Castaway Cay, we stopped in to take photos of Remy and Palo. Remy is the most upscale dining experience that the Disney Cruise Line has ever offered. When walking upstairs to the restaurant, you see Ratatouille inspired artwork (below, left). The Remy sign is (below, right).

Here is my third report on the Disney Dream Christening Cruise! Mousesteps.com was invited, and I was there to take video. One of the most fun things I was able to do was to be taped going down the AquaDuck water coaster! (below, left and right)

I’ll be sharing an installment from the Disney Dream Christening Cruise every day this week. It’s been fun reliving the adventure! The lobby (below, left) is grand, with an Admiral Donald Duck at the helm. We went to eat lunch at the Enchanted Garden (below, right), which boasts a beautiful fountain with Mickey holding a bow and arrow (below, right).

I had the pleasure of joining Denise from Mousesteps as she was invited to the Disney Dream Christening event and cruise. I’ve had the opportunity to cover many amazing Disney press events over the last 20 or so years, but this was possibly the most spectacular one ever! A Navy color guard and band opened the proceedings (below, left). The beautiful Disney Dream sat in the background (below, right).

I was able to join Denise from Mousesteps as she was invited to the Magic Kingdom “Let The Memories Begin” press event and the Disney Dream Christening Cruise! It was very exciting, to be part of both events. We checked into the Polynesian Resort, where check-in for the cruise was in the Tangaroa Terrace (below, left). We both have memories as children and teenagers of the restaurant, were our families stayed each year. The day was beautiful, there was perfect weather when Disney needed it (below, right).

By Jeff, on January 17th, 2011 Hi everyone!
We spent much of Sunday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see the new Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! Parade. The entrance now has “Let the Memories Begin” banners up (below, left). We waited an hour or so for the new parade before it started (below, right).
