Hi everyone! We spent the day at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom yesterday, but the highlight for me was seeing the new changes in the Haunted Mansion! New projections have replaced the audio-animatronics and older projections, but we were told this is temporary/transitional (below, left and right). So we’ll see if anything else happens, I definitely would like to see them keep the ghost that sits with you in the Doom Buggy!
Hi everyone! Epcot is looking beautiful as topiaries and flowers are added for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! A new topiary set went up in the lawn behind Spaceship Earth, Mickey and Minnie having a picnic with Pluto (below left and right). Pluto holds a kite spool in his mouth, but the kite is stuck in the tree!
Hi everyone! Today we have a lot to cover from The Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Pleasure Island. Mickey’s Toontown Fair (below, left) is now closed for good, though we do have video and photos from the last day! Donald’s Boat, the S.S. Miss Daisy can be seen above the fence from the Walt Disney World Railroad (below, right). Mickey’s Toontown Fair will be replaced with the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland.

We stopped by Epcot (below, left) yesterday to see if the 2011 Flower and Garden Festival preparations were underway, and they are! The beautiful flower quilt was planted in the last couple of days (below, right). This years festival will feature seventy five Disney character topiaries, the most ever including many newcomers from Disney/Pixar!
Hi everyone! I’ll be sharing an installment from the Disney Dream Christening Cruise every day this week. It’s been fun reliving the adventure! The lobby (below, left) is grand, with an Admiral Donald Duck at the helm. We went to eat lunch at the Enchanted Garden (below, right), which boasts a beautiful fountain with Mickey holding a bow and arrow (below, right).
Hi everyone! We had a great day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday! It took awhile for Star Tours to officially close, but it is now roped off to guests until next spring (below, left). The fantastic One Man’s Dream attraction has some new concept art on the walls (below, right).
Hi everyone! We were able to ride Space Mountain yesterday (below left), there is now music on 60 speakers throughout the ride – it isn’t an onboard ride track. There are also whooshing sounds that happen as you pass certain areas of the ride. We also noticed a spider web projection on the building, I have not seen this for a number of years – the last time being the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party from a couple of years back.
