We stopped by the Golden Oak development today, you can see the insignia on a fence (below, left) and the gatehouse (below, right). The Golden Oak is named after Walt Disney’s ranch outside of Los Angeles.
The sales center (below left and right) is also easily viewable. Homes will range between 1.5 million and 8 million dollars and will eventually encompass 450 homes and plans are for a Four Seasons Resort as well.
Another view of the sales office (left and right). Less than 30 homes sites will be available this year, and potential home buyers are required to put a refundable $25,000 deposit down. The first homes should be available in 2011.
There are many decorative touches (below left and right). There will be a clubhouse, elite concierge services plus privileges at the Walt Disney World Resort available to homeowners at the Golden Oak.
A wider view of the gatehouse (below, left) shows more of the road that goes in and out of the development. The front of the Golden Oak area (below, right) has a lot of pretty flowers and I’d expect a sign up in the near future.
