Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee premiered at the Magic Kingdom today, and was an instant hit! Dancers, musicians, and characters from the movie invite guests to view the show (below left and right).
The Liberty Belle carries the performers and about 30 guests who get to be part of the show (below, left). Performers open their umbrellas on the boat as part of the show (below, left).
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen on the boat (below, left). There is only a meet and greet on the boat for those guests who are chosen. Louis the Alligator plays the trumpet (below, right).
Dr. Facilier is the villain of The Princess and the Frog, and he turns up on top of the boat (below, left). Performers hold tarot cards (below, right).
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen hold their arms out at the end of the performance (below, left). Fireworks shoot out from the Liberty Belle Riverboat (below, right).
Guests chosen to participate are part of the group on the lower level (below, left). The Liberty Belle sails away to give a chance for a meet and greet for the participants (below, right).
Once the boat comes back around the bend, the music starts back up. The performers get off the boat, and finish up their performances with song and dance (below, left). Princess Tiana waves to the guests (below, right).
The show is colorful and fun, featuring catchy songs from the film! Dancers finish up their performance (below, left). Dr. Facilier stops for a photo before making his escape (below, right).
