By admin, on December 2nd, 2009 Hi everyone!
I have spent two full days experiencing what Epcot offers for Christmas holiday decorations and entertainment this year. One new offering is called D’Vine Voices, a gospel group that sings Christmas music such as “Joy to the World” and “Come Let Us Adore Him“.

I was able to see some of the more popular holiday and Christmas displays yesterday around the Boardwalk resort area. The first display I visited was a gingerbread carousel at the Beach Club Resort, which is in it’s 10th year (below, left). Tinker Bell sits atop the carousel (below, right).

By admin, on October 14th, 2009 Hi everyone!
I had the pleasure of being one of the first to try the new attraction “The Sum of All Thrills” in Epcot’s Innoventions East. Sponsored by Raytheon, it’s similar to Cyberspace Mountain at DisneyQuest in that it’s a simulator where you are able to design your own ride. The attraction marquee is brightly lit (below, left) and there are test seats for those who may not fit. (below, right). The seats are on the narrow side, and there can be a height issue as well as a width issue for riding.

By admin, on October 5th, 2009 Hi everyone!
We have video that includes the new PeopleMover spiel, courtesy of Mousesteps.com. There are many differences with the new wording, including the removal of “Paging Mr. Morrow“. Also, instead of mentioning “The City of Tomorrow“, the Epcot model is referred to as Progress City (below, left). The PeopleMover does go through Space Mountain, which is now testing (below, right).
