I just returned from a very busy schedule at Walt Disney World. I attended and recorded the first two Star Wars Weekends plus covered American Idol winner Kris Allen’s visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Jim Hill Media (my article is HERE). I also recorded footage for upcoming DVD titles featuring the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kidani Village. Finally, the trip ended with the special D23 Flowers and Fireworks event Sunday night at Epcot so be sure to check back for a full report soon!
Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas: Opening Day Photos 6/1/09
I had the great honor of being one of the first to visit inside a newly-opened Treehouse Villa at Walt Disney World’s Saratoga Springs. June 1st was opening day – the treehouse villas had been soft-opening for a week or two. I’d already had the opportunity to visit the property previously and to talk with an Imagineer and designer of the new villas.

Yesterday was the first day that the Disney Vacation Club Treehouse Villas were in soft opening. We have some video and photos!
*UPDATE – I now have photos and video from INSIDE a Treehouse taken on the official opening day available HERE!
The front sign (below, left) is at the entrance for those who are driving in. The boat dock (below, right) is serviced by the DVC resort ferry, which also makes a stop at the new dock next to the soon-to-open Paradiso 37.

I was pleased to be able to visit the new Sanaa Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village last weekend, and I have a joint review with Denise Preskitt from Mousesteps, as well as a second review by another friend, Steve Buddin.
We will start with Steve’s glowing review, which includes photos that Denise and I took during our lunch on May 2nd. Thank you to Steve for offering the review for everyone to enjoy! A portion of our joint review follows, which you can then finish on Mousesteps. We end with a video of the restaurant. Remember that we have over 20 minutes worth of Kidani Village videos, as well as photos of the pool and other areas of the resort!
