I am continuing with my coverage of Christmas at Walt Disney World with some photos from the now-decorated Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World!
It is one of the more popular resorts for Christmas decor, with a beautiful tree in the middle of the lobby as well as lit reindeer on a ledge over the doors. Below you can also see one of the smaller Christmas trees, looking out on the courtyard, with a reflection in the window (below right).
The Wilderness Lodge once boasted a wonderful gingerbread train display, but it’s been years since that display has been set up.

I am continuing with my coverage of Christmas events at Walt Disney World with these photos from the Osborne Family “Spectacle of Dancing Lights” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The lights recently premiered for 2008 and are always a big hit with holiday park-goers.
This huge undertaking includes: 5 million lights, 32 miles of extension cables, 66 snow machines, 100 gallons of snow fluid per night – and have you tried to find all 43 hidden Mickeys?
There is so much detail in each of the lighted scenes, my favorite is the dog in the lower left – it reminds me of my dog Keyla!

I’m back from a fun but chilly trip to Walt Disney World! The week started out close to 90 degrees, but the end of the trip saw temperatures dip into the 30’s.
I’ll have a full update soon! Look for upcoming releases from this trip to include Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party (Holiday Treat 08), the last Super Soap Weekend DVD, and my second resort DVD – The Port Orleans French Quarter! I had a wonderful time taping the resort – and making sure to research the beignets fully as well. I also was able to fit in a day at IAPPA!
