We’ve spent a few hours this week at the Magic Kingdom, I stopped by yesterday as well to get some photos. Cinderella Castle (below, left) looked magnificent with the clouds behind it. Casey’s Corner (below, right) is still undergoing exterior work.
I stopped by a very quiet Cinderella fountain (below, left) before moving on to it’s a small world, which is now closed for refurbishment (below, right). The queue is being redone to make it more handicap accessible.
A wall covers it’s a small world (below, left). Looking back, you can see the facade on Peter Pan’s Flight and the wall of it’s a small world (below, right).
More work continues on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (below left and right).
Two shots of the dirt mound over the Fantasyland construction wall (one during the day, one at dusk) can be seen (below left and right). Also of note is the visible nighttime work lights.
I rode Dumbo the Flying Elephant as a storm could be seen in the distance – it’s hard to believe that the two photos below were taken during the same ride! (below left and right). You can see the foundation being worked on in the second photo.

The Lunching Pad has abandoned turkey legs in favor of what is being called “gourmet” hot dogs. There are three flavors – Taco, Reuben and Philly Cheese Steak.
I’ve never seen the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage boats, but there was one docked at the Magic Kingdom (below left and right). It sounds like quite an adventure for children (I found more info HERE)!
