August 4th Walt Disney World Update, Including Bay Lake Tower Opening Day – Photos & Video

Hi everyone!

The last few days have been busy at Walt Disney World.  Unfortunately, one of those changes was the closing of Starabilias. A unique shop on the Downtown Disney West End, there have been rumors of it closing for a while (below left and right).

Another closure is temporary. The Living with the Land boat ride is being refurbished, and is set to open back up on or around November 1st (below left and right).

The Bay Lake Tower officially opened yesterday. A DVC van unloads some guests (below, left). The rooms have lit room numbers (below, right).

The fountain behind the lobby has the names of founding DVC members (below, left). Guests walk past the pool bar (below, right).

The new pool seems small, and has a fence around it (below, left). The walkway between the two buildings is now open (below, right).
