I am very excited about my latest DVD release, Jeff Lange’s Disney-MGM Studios Parade Classics – 20th Anniversary Collectors Edition (for more information or to order click HERE)! Also, in keeping with the theme of today’s update I am featuring Jeff Lange Remembers: Tomorrowland Classics (available HERE).
The walls finally came down today in Tomorrowland, as the new stage for Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration was unveiled. As usual, Denise from partner site MouseSteps was there and she shares her great photos and videos below (you can find more on her site!)
According to the cast members working in the area, the walls were just removed today (above). Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration is about celebrating Galaxy Day in Tomorrowland. The show features an animated, interactive Stitch appearing on the giant screen plus a cast of live performers. A series of looping ads (some about Tomorrowland) are shown on the screen before the show begins (below).
Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration will include an 8 minute pre-show (screen above right) and feature a 21 minute interactive show. The main stage (below left) and the control panel (below right).
The giant LED screen is where Stitch will interact with the performers and crowd (below left). The show will also include the now standard show fireworks.

Video #1: Happy Galaxy Day from the Metro-Retro Historical Society, Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration is not open yet, but the LED Billboard is playing loops of “ads”.
Video #2: The walls came down today at the upcoming attraction, which is set to open on May 6th, 2009 at the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom.
Video #3: Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration Ad Loop on the LED Billboard 4/24/2009 #1. The attraction is not yet open, but the billboard is up and looping ads and the pre-show video (but not the pre-show sound).
