Hi everyone! I’ve had the opportunity to celebrate Disneyland’s birthday (July 17th) in person many times in the past, including at the big media event for the 50th! But there are years that we don’t get to Disneyland in July – so we celebrate instead at the Magic Kingdom (below, right). We celebrated the 57th birthday of Disneyland on a very rainy day at the park. Our tradition is to ride opening day Disneyland attractions, but some of them are outside, so we couldn’t really be too choosy!

We had the opportunity this past weekend to see several different rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside – including the Royal Guest Rooms in Oak Manor (below, left), which are the most impressive. The rooms have an elegant and sumptuous feel to them (below, right).

Yesterday afternoon we stopped by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort before heading to the Magic Kingdom to do some recording for my next project. The construction wall (for the rumored DVC expansion) spans much of the sidewalk between the main building and the Wedding Pavilion (below left). Walls also lead into the Grand Floridian Spa (below, right).
