In keeping with our updates of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, we stayed one night in a Lion King suite. Mufasa and Simba are on a notepad outside of the building (below, left). As with all of the family suites, there is a living area, a dining area, and one bedroom. The suites sleep six. Zazu is on the headboard, surrounded by the sun – which continues into the comforter! We visited Disney’s Art of Animation Resort today, to photograph the new Lion King section. This area opens to the public officially on Friday! Rafiki (below, left) stands at the beginning to the pathway which leads guests through the lush landscaping. Mufasa (below, right) is on the opposite side, looking regal as always. We stopped by Disney’s Art of Animation Resort yesterday, less than two weeks before the Lion King section grand opens to guests! We are looking forward to bringing you full coverage next week. The fence around the area is now lower, making it easier to see Rafiki (below, left and right) as he waits to welcome guests!
