Hi everyone! We stopped by Disney’s Art of Animation Resort yesterday, less than two weeks before the Lion King section grand opens to guests! We are looking forward to bringing you full coverage next week. The fence around the area is now lower, making it easier to see Rafiki (below, left and right) as he waits to welcome guests! Hi everyone! We had a full day today, starting with a visit to a Pirate Room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort (we’ll have a video soon) and then heading over to Disney’s Pop Century Resort to photograph the progress on Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, left). We first noticed – while driving by the Art of Animation sign – this skull prop sitting in the parking lot of the resort (below, right). We expect it to go in the Lion King section.
Hi everyone! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, left, in Disney’s official artwork) is really starting to take shape (below, right), adding paint to a Finding Nemo building and we’ve now also seen the first pool being built! We stopped by Disney’s Pop Century Resort yesterday to get photos of the construction at the upcoming Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below left and right), formerly it was to be Disney’s Pop Century Legendary Years.
