Hi everyone! We continue our Disney Dream coverage with the two Broadway-style shows that we enjoyed. The first is of the Golden Mickeys – A Timeless Tribute (below left and right), I’d seen it back in 2004 and was delighted to get to see it again! The show is patterned after awards shows and features performances of classic Disney songs (and a new sequence based on the film “Tangled“)
Hi everyone! We went to the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of the year – it was a nice time to go, with few crowds (later in the season the parties are heavily attended). There was a sign at the entrance to the security area (below, left) that let guests know about the party. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are now greeting party goers inside the Judges Tent – there was a delay in everyone getting to meet them, but we made it in and you can see that they are now dressed in their Pirates and Princess outfits (below, right).
Hi everyone! After a terrific night a few weeks ago at the Last Tour to Endor, Star Tours really (really!) shut down yesterday with a D23 ” Star Tours Final Flight” event. We also enjoyed a few extra rides on the attraction, being in one of the simulators that was the last trip to Endor for regular park guests (many D23 members were also there as well). This X-Wing Fighter is used in Star Wars Weekends, and the pilot posed for photos throughout the event (below, left). The giant flight information screen (below, right) promises forthcoming adventures to Hoth, Tatooine and Dagobah Hi everyone! It was a dark and rainy afternoon, but the updated “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade still was able to continue in an abbreviated form. Roy O Disney and Minnie Mouse (below, left) sit in front of a fierce looking cloud. The parade (below, right), was in “rain parade” mode, meaning that fewer floats were present and some characters walked ahead of the parade.
Hi everyone! Epcot is full steam ahead with preparations for it’s International Flower and Garden Festival. The movie “Oceans” (below, left) by DisneyNature is represented just as the film “Earth” was last year. Keep checking back for what Disney has in store for the Ocean’s display! Mickey and Minnie Mouse are now part of two topiaries, one being at the America Adventure Pavilion, and this one at the entrance to World Showcase (below, right).
Hi everyone! Orlando has been in a deep freeze this week, with temperatures as low as the mid-20’s (maybe not a deep freeze, but very cold nonetheless!) Around the parks and resorts, you can see flowers, plants and trees covered up from the cold – often making it look like even more of a winter wonderland (below, left at Epcot and below, right at the Polynesian Resort).
 Whats Happening  Cantina de San Angel, Cinderella Castle, Crystal Palace, Dream Builders, D’Vine Voices, Epcot, Fantasyland Saxaphone Quartet, Liberty Belle, Magic Kingdom, Polynesian Resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, Princess and the Frog, Splash Mountain, Tiana's Showboat Jubilee!, Tutto Italia, Walt Disney World Freeze Hi everyone! Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee had a rousing final performance yesterday (below, left). Despite rumors to the contrary, this was the last show (though it could possibly come back for the DVD release). Louis the Alligator gets ready to play his trumpet (below, right).
