Hi everyone! We stopped by Disney’s Pop Century Resort yesterday to get some photos of the construction going on at the future Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. There is a lot of upward construction now, though all the numbers signifying the Pop Century Legendary Years (the portion of the resort never built) are still in place (below left and right). Hi everyone! We stayed last night at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the Little Mermaid area, which is the last section to open. Ariel and Flounder (below, left) cut a grand twosome as they tower above guests “under the sea”! King Triton (below, right), looks over his Kingdom. Hi everyone! In keeping with our updates of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, we stayed one night in a Lion King suite. Mufasa and Simba are on a notepad outside of the building (below, left). As with all of the family suites, there is a living area, a dining area, and one bedroom. The suites sleep six. Zazu is on the headboard, surrounded by the sun – which continues into the comforter! We visited Disney’s Art of Animation Resort today, to photograph the new Lion King section. This area opens to the public officially on Friday! Rafiki (below, left) stands at the beginning to the pathway which leads guests through the lush landscaping. Mufasa (below, right) is on the opposite side, looking regal as always. Hi everyone! We stayed in the Radiator Springs CARS section at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort last week for the first public night (below, left). We were in the Luigi’s Casa Della Tires building – this is one of three guest buildings in this area. Guido (below, right) is on one of the pieces of artwork on the floors. Radiator Springs at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (below, left) is testing with Cast Members for a few days, we didn’t know that when we stopped by to have lunch! We spent a few hours taking photos and video of the newly opened area (official opening is June 18th), and we were very impressed with all the details we found.
