Hi everyone! It had been some time since we visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom and it was a beautiful day so we decided to pay a visit yesterday afternoon. We were able to ride Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain (below, left and right) twice yesterday – we picked up a Fast Pass and then waited in the 30 minute (or less) standby queue for our first ride. We had borrowed a GoPro Hero2 camera from a friend and have been enjoying trying new things with it!
Hi everyone! Changes at the Magic Kingdom have been happening swiftly! We stopped by the Main Street Fire Station to pick up our Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards to play, and a new banner was out (below, left). We were happy to see the patches are now back inside of the Fire Station, we had been told weeks ago that that would happen (below, right).

We recently spent one night (two full days) at Disney’s Beach Club Resort in Concierge. We were able to snag a great deal on the room, and had a wonderful time relaxing. Our view from our room was of a courtyard (below, left) and of the Boardwalk area. The view of the Boardwalk was even better from the Flying Jib slide at Stormalong Bay (below, right).
Hi everyone! Just hours after the New York Giants won the Super Bowl, Quarterback and MVP Eli Manning was on his way to Walt Disney World! The procession started in Liberty Square, and made it’s way around the hub (below, left), before Manning came into our view. Seated with Mickey Mouse (who was dressed as a football player), Manning was showered with confetti as fans applauded and called out to him (below, right).
Hi everyone! Denise stopped at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today to pick up a couple of items and also check the Magic of Disney Animation building (below, left) to see if the artwork from Disney/Pixar’s Brave was out yet. The sign on the front of the building said it was still the Pooh/Cars 2 display, but Brave (below, right) was actually inside! She was told the display isn’t finished yet, and the banners in the Courtyard still say Prep and Landing.

After a media preview of the new Busch Garden’s show Iceploration, we hopped back in the car and headed to the Magic Kingdom to photograph and record the new Romance segment of “The Magic, The Memories and You!” Just like in the Christmas version, a small portion of the normal show is changed to reflect the season. The first part of the new segment features Snow White as she receives “Love’s First Kiss” (below, left). Lady and the Tramp then are shown on Cinderella Castle in the famous spagetti scene (below, right).
Hi everyone! Yesterday was a gorgeous, cool day at the Magic Kingdom (below, left). We encountered the Main Street streetmosphere characters by the Fire Engine as soon as we walked into the park (below, right). We once again play tested the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game and added to our growing collection of Sorcerers cards.
