Hi everyone! Today was another picture perfect day in central Florida so we decided to check out what was happening at The Magic Kingdom! We boarded the Walt Disney World Railroad to check out the progress on Mickey’s Toontown Fair when we noticed that Mickey and Minnie Mouse were greeting guests in Frontierland (below left) in addition to Tomorrowland (click HERE for photos & video). We stopped at the Frontierland station to get covergae of this popular twosome! (below, right).
Hi everyone! Today we have a lot to cover from The Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Pleasure Island. Mickey’s Toontown Fair (below, left) is now closed for good, though we do have video and photos from the last day! Donald’s Boat, the S.S. Miss Daisy can be seen above the fence from the Walt Disney World Railroad (below, right). Mickey’s Toontown Fair will be replaced with the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland.

Mickey’s Toontown Fair has closed forever to make way for the Fantasyland expansion, but we spent the last few hours on Friday enjoying this land before the walls went up around it for good. We entered Mickey’s Toontown Fair by train (below, left) and took a couple of last rides on Goofy’s Barnstormer (below, right), which will be rethemed as The Great Goofini as part of the expansion (below, right). Hi everyone! We stopped by Epcot (below, left) yesterday to see if the 2011 Flower and Garden Festival preparations were underway, and they are! The beautiful flower quilt was planted in the last couple of days (below, right). This years festival will feature seventy five Disney character topiaries, the most ever including many newcomers from Disney/Pixar!
Hi everyone! We went to the Magic Kingdom today to see Super Bowl MVP (From the Green Bay Packers) Aaron Rodgers as he paid a visit to Walt Disney World! Rodgers was honored in a motorcade (below, left) and was seated next to Mickey Mouse (below, right).
Hi everyone! We stopped by Disney’s Pop Century Resort yesterday to get some photos of the construction going on at the future Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. There is a lot of upward construction now, though all the numbers signifying the Pop Century Legendary Years (the portion of the resort never built) are still in place (below left and right). Hi everyone! We had a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom yesterday! The Chilean miners (below, left and right) were given a key to the Magic Kingdom in a parade and short ceremony, and they were even able to greet guests who gave them nothing short of a heroes welcome.
