Hi everyone! We have a new Fantasyland expansion update today, with photos and video from yesterday! It was nearly a half hour wait for Dumbo the Flying Elephant to get some of our footage, but it allowed a great view over the fence of the Beast’s Castle area (below, left) and The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (below, right).

We attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party last night, it’s first of the 2011 season! Inflated pumpkins welcomed us as we drove through the toll booth (below, left) and the yearly pumpkins in front of the train station looked especially festive (below, right). Halloween time is one of my favorite seasons at the park and it really get’s you in the mood to attend these early parties (and the candy doesn’t hurt either)! Hi everyone! We attended the pin event “The Florida Project” at Epcot’s World Showplace pavilion this past weekend. We are big fans of Disney history, and were looking forward to all the props (and merchandise) that were part of the event. The Orange Bird (below, right) had a significant presence at “The Florida Project“, including welcoming guests as they arrived.
Hi everyone! The Magic Kingdom is decked out for Halloween, and Denise took photos from the front of the park to all the way down Main Street USA (see the full set HERE). It looks really good this year, with new garland and wreaths! The display is outside as always for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (below, left). The Magic, Memories and You banner has displaced a couple of pumpkins, which are now inside the park at Town Square. But the front entrance looks great! (below, right).
Hi everyone! We just returned from a wonderful (and busy!) 2 week trip to Southern California (below, left). We spent the beginning of the trip at the D23 Expo, a day at Sea World San Diego and another day exploring the L.A. area – including a visit to a Tim Burton exhibit. But the rest of the time was spent at Disneyland (below, left). We visit Disneyland each year, and always find many “magical moments” to be had. One was a show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mary Poppins, Bert, and the Pearly Band (below, right). We’ve never seen it before, and it’s a fantastic show! Whats Happening Ariel, Asimo, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, Cinderella, D23 Expo, Disneyland, Disneyland Magical Moments, Disneyland Penny Arcade Dancing Pinnochio Game, Main Street USA, Mickey Mouse, Pearly Band with Mary Poppins & Bert, Penny Arcade, Peter Pan & Captain Hook, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Spieling Peter, Toontown Hi everyone! We attended the D23 Expo this past weekend, and one of our favorite parts of the event was the Carousel of Projects (below, left). This area provided a look at different projects in many areas of the company, including Aulani at the Disney Vacation Club and Fantasyland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The Fantasyland expansion includes the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (below, right), we have video that shares how it will work.
Hi everyone! Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room opened officially this morning, and we were there for the first show (and two subsequent shows)! We arrived at 9am, after being told it might open early. It didn’t. A line curved around Aladdin’s Magic Carpets (below, right) as guests waited for the 10am opening.
