Hi everyone! Disney Vacation Club officially announced the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Villas expansion a few days ago. We’ve visited about once a month to take photos and video of this area (below, left). An official artist rendering was also released (below, right).
Hi everyone! Yesterday we put off our Magic Kingdom update to focus on the Cubot interactive test, but I’m happy to be sharing our Magic Kingdom photos and video today! Denise noticed the pumpkin wreaths at the Magic Kingdom tollbooth (below, left) as we drove to the park. The Disney and American flags were flying at half-staff in memory of Steve Jobs (below, right). We came back from Washington D.C. a couple of days ago after nearly a week away, and got back to Disney the next day! We started with the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort construction (below, left and right). The DVC villas are set to open later this year, and the building looks more and more like the buildings that have been part of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for 25 years.

Yesterday afternoon we stopped by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort before heading to the Magic Kingdom to do some recording for my next project. The construction wall (for the rumored DVC expansion) spans much of the sidewalk between the main building and the Wedding Pavilion (below left). Walls also lead into the Grand Floridian Spa (below, right).
Hi everyone! We have spent a lot of time at Disney resorts this week! We were invited to a Super Bowl get-together at a friend’s Treehouse Villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs resort (below, left). While he’s a DVC member and used his points, the Treehouses can also be reserved by non-DVC guests if available. There is a dedicated pool for the Treehouses (below, right), which is small but includes a jacuzzi as well. We like the frog decorations!

We spent a few hours yesterday at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) – it’s hard to believe it’s been a month since we’ve visited! The last visit we made was when the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N Soak area was opened. The Main Street Bakery had been under a facade for quite some time including the last time we were here, and it looks very nice and bright now (below, right).

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort looks beautiful as always for Christmas, with it’s lobby tree (below, left) and decorations which include deer over the entrance (below, right). We find the experience especially festive at night.
