We enjoyed the Easter pre-parade (below, left) at the Magic Kingdom again this year! The relatively light crowds allowed us to get two great viewing spots (one we found early on Main Street USA, then we ran to Frontierland). Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny lead the pre-parade (below, right).
Chicken Little waves to the crowd (below, left). It’s nice to see characters you don’t often see in the parks! Clara Cluck (below, right) also takes a spot on the float.
The Azalea Trail Maids (below left and right) make a colorful walk down Main Street USA, ending the pre-parade with style.

At Epcot, the United Kingdom (below left and right) was one of two locations for the yearly Easter Egg Hunt (the other was the Garden behind the American Adventure). Each child was able to get 5 eggs, and it was fun to watch some of the kids shake the eggs to try to figure out what was inside (sometimes putting it back after shaking!) The United Kingdom is a new location for this year, replacing the hunt in the grassy area that is where Bambi’s Butterfly Tent now stands in Future World.
There were several places in the United Kingdom gardens that were being used for hunts. One was a flat area of grass, where it looked like the younger kids would go (below, left). The other eggs were set through one of two mazes, which were alternately used for each group (below, right).
Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny posed for photos (below, left and right). We met them at the Magic Kingdom a couple of days ago, and it was nice to see them again! We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
Video #2 – Epcot Easter 2011 Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny Greeting Easter Egg Hunts – Easter at Epcot, which featured Easter egg hunts and Mr. and Mrs. Bunny! Each child was able to collect 5 eggs during the hunt (and each egg had surprises inside).
