The walls came down around Space Mountain today, and it is very close to opening! You can see the front of Space Mountain and the arcade (below, left), and the bathrooms in the former Skyway building are open as well (below, right).
Space Mountain was testing in the dark this afternoon, though sometimes it went light so that the ride could be worked on. Cast members walk down the track (below, right) and the astronauts have not yet returned (below, right).
The post-show area doesn’t seem to have changed significantly from before (below left and right). I think the former RCA dog is on the left.

The last part of the post-show visible is below, left. The entrance to Space Mountain at night is below, right. We will have full coverage of it when it does open!
