Holiday Entrance Scenes

Your Very Merry Christmas Party begins as you receive a Party wristband, which allows for a whole evening of fun in the Magic Kingdom! The main entrance looks festive with holiday decor. You stop for a Party guide map before picking up your Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom souvenir card. Next, the Main Street bypass beckons again this year with some fun holiday photo opportunities and a first Christmas treat! Special Character Meet and Greets

Your first character stop is to meet Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws, he is one of the most popular characters of the Party! Next, we head to see the Seven Dwarfs, Scrooge McDuck with Donald Duck and talking Mickey Mouse. Daisy and Minnie are in their holiday finest, and the Country Bears are out and about in Frontierland. There is even more character fun to be found here!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as you enjoy this holiday tradition from two different angles – Christmas Tree Point with a view of Cinderella Castle and Town Square with a view of the Christmas tree! Snow falls on Main Street as parade characters including Mickey and Minnie, Anna, Elsa & Olaf, Cinderella and many others join perennial favorite toy soldiers, the prancing reindeer and Santa Claus himself for this joyous procession!

Holiday Wishes Fireworks: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season

This fireworks spectacular lights up the sky over the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle. The show is a combination of six “acts”: The Spirit of the Season, The Spirit of Holiday Wonder, The Spirit of Sharing Hearth and Family, The Spirit of Holiday Childhood Fantasies, The Holiday Spirit in Each of Us, and Christmas All Around Us. Experience all of its splendor including the amazing 180 degree fireworks finale!

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto join Daisy Duck on the Cinderella Castle stage in the second year of “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” show as they try to figure out where Donald is – he isn’t tech savvy! Once Donald appears, the fun begins. Disney friends begin arriving, including Clarabelle Cow, Woody and Jessie, Chip and Dale, and Mickey and Minnie in special costumes! There is bell ringing, fantastic projections on Cinderella Castle and much more in this spectacular show that can’t be missed. Watch until the end as the Christmas lights on Cinderella Castle illuminate during the finale!

Very Merry Party Scenes

You make your our way through the Magic Kingdom and stop for reindeer and polar bears dancing at Club Tinsel. You enjoy projections around the park and take an extended look at the holiday treats – including a number of different cookies, hot chocolate, sparkling cider with chocolates and more! And then you take a stroll down Main Street, enjoying a last look at the holiday decor, tree and Cinderella Castle as your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ends.

Next, it’s time to meet Jack and Sally at their new location in the gazebo in Liberty Square. You follow that up with Talking Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater and Donald, Minnie and all Seven Dwarfs in Storybook Circus! Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet meet guests while donning Halloween costumes in Fantasyland.

Headless Horseman

“Make sure to get lots of treats!”, Mickey proclaims as Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade kicks off. No tricks can be found here, just a lot of popular Disney characters to delight young and old alike. Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, Jasmine, and other favorites can be found hiding behind their Halloween masks. Wendy is tied up on the pirate ship, while Peter Pan is ready to battle Captain Hook! New this year is Vanellope on the candy float. It is a delightful combination of childhood favorite characters and villainous fun. Back as always is the esteemed Grave Digger Precision Drill Team and so much more!

Celebrate The Magic Villains Segment

Added only for the Halloween season, this villains segment of the Celebrate the Magic projection show offers some of Disney’s most dastardly villains, with Chernabog heralding in the the likes of Ursula and Maleficent, the Mistress of all Evil herself. Maleficent first appears in human form before her dragon likeness conjures up flames on Cinderella Castle.

Happy HalloWishes Fireworks

Your “Ghost Host” guides you through this feast of sights and sounds, as vibrant bursts of color combine with dazzling projections to light up the night. Trick or Treating / Haunted Exit Scenes

The Monstrous Scream-A-Ween Ball is going strong in Tomorrowland, while the Haunted Mansion across the Magic Kingdom offers a more eerie presence. Pirates of the Caribbean is again a treat location this year, and the tower clock with skeleton projection makes for a spooky hidden Mickey. Take a stroll down a colorful Main Street U.S.A. with Halloween lighting effects and window displays! The scarecrows in Town Square bid you goodbye before we take one last lingering look. Carved pumpkins above the Main Street Train Station spell out  “See Ya Real Soon” as your Halloween Party night concludes.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures Final Night with Long Lines and Fans In Costume Plus the Very Last Rider – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We attended the final evening of Snow White’s Scary Adventures at The Magic Kingdom (below, left). This was an opening day attraction, and it’s always sad to lose one of those. Snow White’s Scary Adventures is closing to make way for Princess Fairytale Hall, a meet and greet area for the Disney princesses to be part of the New Fantasyland. I first rode Snow White’s Adventures in 1971, and it was quite different back then – there was a lot more of the witch, and no Snow White.  The Evil Queen and a young Snow White (below, right) even paid a visit on Friday night.
