We had the opportunity this past weekend to see several different rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside – including the Royal Guest Rooms in Oak Manor (below, left), which are the most impressive. The rooms have an elegant and sumptuous feel to them (below, right).

We started out yesterday with a parade at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and then ended it at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) to meet with friends. Dumbo the Flying Elephant’s new spinner was continously testing while we were in Fantasyland, with a Storybook Circus sign for “The Barnstormer” (below, right).

It was a dark and rainy afternoon, but the updated “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade still was able to continue in an abbreviated form. Roy O Disney and Minnie Mouse (below, left) sit in front of a fierce looking cloud. The parade (below, right), was in “rain parade” mode, meaning that fewer floats were present and some characters walked ahead of the parade.

Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee had a rousing final performance yesterday (below, left). Despite rumors to the contrary, this was the last show (though it could possibly come back for the DVD release). Louis the Alligator gets ready to play his trumpet (below, right).

Princess Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee officially premiered yesterday at the Magic Kingdom (though we brought photos and video to you from it’s first public performance the day before!) Princess Tiana was also officially inducted as one of the princesses in a ceremony in front of Cinderella Castle. The cast from Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee led the procession (below, left). Characters and the other princesses wait for Princess Tiana to arrive (below, right).

Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee premiered at the Magic Kingdom today, and was an instant hit! Dancers, musicians, and characters from the movie invite guests to view the show (below left and right).
