Town Square is bustling with characters, including the debut of Jack and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”! You’ll also visit Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween finery, and Lots-o’-Huggin Bear is waiting to give you an embrace. Phineas and Ferb pump up the crowds before Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade!

Headless Horseman

Hooves slap against the pavement as you await the arrival of the Horseman from Sleepy Hollow. New, foreboding music heralds his entrance. Sparks shoot from the ground as the horse gallops by, with it’s famed rider holding an illuminated Jack-O-Lantern in his gloved hand. This video footage is taken from five different angles!

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

“It’s not so very scary” as many of your favorite Disney characters, from Mickey & Minnie to the Hitchhiking Ghosts, mix with Halloween themed floats that include a pirate ship, Haunted Mansion gravestones and more! The Grave Digger Precision Drill Team delights as always, with sparks flying from the end of their shovels as they scrape the pavement. Haunted Mansion at Midnight

Haunted Exit Scenes

Your Not-So-Scary night closes with a look at the projections in Tomorrowland, followed by a visit to Adventureland. The Enchanted Tiki Room is open for trick or treating, with the birds watching from above! On your way out of the park, gaze upon the decorated windows on Main Street. Looking back from Town Square, Cinderella Castle rarely looks as vibrant as it does in the distance between two sets of towering pumpkins. Fog has not yet lifted as you exit the park, enjoying a last lingering look at the Main Street Train Station as your night ends.

The Epcot International Garden and Festival kicked off it’s 20th  year yesterday! The main entrance topiary has changed since we were there the day previous, with hot dogs on the grill (below, left) and Donald and Daisy with their badminton equipment (below, right).

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald gather together with the Fairy Godmother, trying to figure out how Cinderella Castle should be decorated. Cinderella and Prince Charming soon appear, and Cinderella’s wish of a castle that resembles her sparkling slipper is brought to life!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as you enjoy this holiday tradition from the best parade spot in the Magic Kingdom! The character-filled procession glides toward you, with Cinderella Castle shimmering in the background. A gentle snow heralds the start of the parade, as character favorites including Mickey & Minnie, Scrooge McDuck, and Chip & Dale greet you! Here in Orlando, it’s the time of the year to get ready for Christmas! We attended the first three Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights (below, left). Christmas trees are set in front of the Main Street railroad station (below, right), and Mickey’s head is in the shape of a giant ornament.

New for 2012, there are two treat trails! Br’er Rabbit’s Laughing Place Candy Patch invites you to gather sweets at multiple stations, surrounded by pumpkin carvings that include Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Fox, and Br’er Bear! Delight in the Seven Dwarfs as Happy shows off his dance moves. Next to the new Casey Jr. Candy Junction in Storybook Circus, you’ll find Curious Candy Way, themed to the story of Alice in Wonderland. We’ll stop briefly to visit Phineas and Ferb next to City Hall, as well as Mickey and Minnie dressed in their Halloween finest.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, 2012 Edition Opening Night: Characters, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade Changes, HalloWishes and Much More – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We had a great time attending the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season!  We had been in California for 11 nights, and missed seeing the Halloween decorations as they were put up. The pumpkins are back in front of the park (below, left), and new decorative lit inflatable balls have been added (below, right). These are in place of the white ones from previous years.

Magic Kingdom One More Disney Day Highlights: Mickey & Minnie in PJ’s, Special Bakery Items, Main Street Vehicles, Castle Dance Party, Sunrise and More! – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We decided a couple of days before “One More Disney Day” at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) that we’d attend for at least a few hours in the evening. We arrived at about 8pm, figuring we’d stay until 2am or so. It turned out, we stayed all night! Friends of ours had been there since 6am, and received free commemorative Mickey Ears (limited to the first 3000 guests) and all guests received One More Disney Day buttons (below, right).
